POET WEIMARANERS is located on the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio in a country setting flanked by woods, pine trees and fields. Our love affair with the Weimaraner began in 1985 with the addition of our first. Showing Weimaraners commenced in 1992 and we have actively shown our beautiful gray friends ever since. Our dogs are also active in hunting tests, ratings tests, field trials, and tracking tests.

We are extremely dedicated to preserving the versatility and beauty of the Weimaraner dog and adhere to and advocate Weimaraner Club Of America code of ethics. Some of the Clubs and Organiations that we support are:

• Columbus Weimaraner Club

My husband and I bred and raced Thoroughbreds and named our race horses after Robert Frost's poems; Robert Frost is my husband's favorite poet. When it was time to have a kennel name we carried through with the theme by using Poet Weimaraners.
